BELIEVE AND OBEY

Jesus said, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:16. Can we be saved if we are not baptized? I think we cannot. Why ? Because baptism is one evidence that shows that we believe in Him. We obey Him when we are baptized. We believe Him when we do what He tells us to do. We have to produce some evidence to show Jesus that we believe in Him, just as we have to show some evidence that we have faith in Him. No one can be saved if we cannot show evidence that we believe or have faith in Him. If we can have faith alone, or believe alone to qualify for heaven, demons will also go to heaven. If we cannot show anything, what is the basis of our belief or faith in Jesus? Can we prove them to Jesus by saying that the evidence that we can show to Jesus that we believe in Him and that we have faith in Him is that we have abolished all of His commandments? NO! He will say that we are INSANE ! I know Jesus. Do you...

HIGYZAMA

HIGYZA MA ( הַגזָמָה) Readers, this morning I want to write about a topic of conversation that was very popular during Noah’s time. In Arabic it is stated as ghuluun, or  غلو. What is this topic about? This topic is about the subject of  repentance . God the Father, or Yahweh, has extensively talked about this subject through Noah to the people there, but everybody made fun of him and laughed. God the Son has also talked about this important subject and said,  "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:29-30. Nobody believes Him either. They all laugh. They say that what Jesus said is a bunch of  hyperboles . The people durin...

REPENTANCE

The message that Noah brought to his people thousands of years ago was on  REPENTANCE .  But none would listen. And many made fun of him and his message on repentance. God the Father finally decided to get rid of them all; no grace, and no mercy. Why? Because they refused to repent. God killed everyone and everything that He had created, all living beings, and none was saved except Noah and a handful of his family members, and some animals. The message that Jesus brought to the world was similar to Noah's message. His message was also on  REPENTANCE . Jesus said this,  "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:29-30. JESUS WILL NOT FORGIVE OUR SINS

Brothers, I have news for you. Jesus will not only not die for us, but He will also not forgive our sins! Just because Martin Luther says so, or church leaders say so, does not mean that God the Son also says so. What did God the Son say? Let’s find out what Jesus said. I believe only in what Jesus said, and no one else. What did Jesus say when He was suffering and dying on the cross? He prayed to God the Father to forgive the sins of His executioners, “ Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do ." Luke 23:34. God the Son forgives His executioners, because they do not know what they do. Did Jesus ask God the Father to forgive the sins of the chief priests, elders, the whole council, Pilate, and the rest of them religious fakers that lead to His crucifixion? No, He did not! Why? Because they knew what they were doing. Does the Bible say that Jesus has forgiven the sins of those who abolished His commandments? No, He did not! Why? Because they ...

THE WORLD HATES JESUS

Jesus told His disciples, "The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil .” John 7:7. What was His message? This was His message, Can I Ask? I thought He was referring to the Jews . No, He was talking about the WORLD in which we live when He said, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self indulgence. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead [men's] bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. Readers, Jesus was talking about the WORLD in which we live, and no...

CAN I ASK?

Did Jesus die because of us, or did He die because He had made the Jews mad? If you read the Bible you will find the words that He had said to the Pharisees, scribes, and others that can provoke their anger. Jesus said in Matthew 10:34, "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.” In John 10:31 we read, "Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him."  Apart from the reason why He came to earth, to "save us and to die for our sins," is provoking their anger part of Jesus' plan? Is death not one of the possible consequences when we challenge and provoke people to anger? Look here what else did Jesus say: "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead [men's] bones and all uncleanness.” (Matthew 23:27) "For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds [the righteousness] of the scrib...

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY?

Have you ever wondered why Jesus said, “Follow Me” and not “Follow Us” ? I had been asking that question for quite a while until I got the answer early this morning. The answer is quite simple. The answer is very simple. Jesus wants to make a clear distinction between Me and Us . Here is an example. You have read my posting about a staggering number of Christian groups or denominations globally, over 45,000, but only one Jesus. Do you still remember? Have you ever wondered why that many? That was because Christians have been following “Us” and not been following “Me” . Millions of Christians have been following Jesus, Paul, Peter, and so on. It goes back even as far as to the prophets mentioned in the Old Testament Bible. Doesn’t that amaze you? That was the reason why we have over 45,000 Christian denominations, and only one Jesus. Do you know how many Islam denominations we have in the world? Buddhist, Hindu, and everything else? Go ahead, do a Google search, and start counting. ...
