  According to the statistics on the internet there are more than 45,000 different Christian denominations or groups in the world, and two or three different Islam groups. The Christian denominations differ from each other not because they have different Jesus, but because they have different leaders, pastors, preachers, priests who interpret the Bible differently, and members just believe them. Is that not amazing and troubling ?    It is estimated that there are about 2.0 billion of Muslims in the world and 2.3 billion of Christians worldwide.  Why are there over 45,000 different  Christian denominations for 2.3 billion members, and only three Islam groups for 2.0 billion members? Muslims worship one Allah, and Christians worship one Jesus. But what makes one group so much different from the other in terms of their faith in their God? Here is my answer.   Today I want to write about a subject that I have never written before. It’s about faith. Those who are familiar with faith know that we can have faith in the teachings of God the Father, faith in the teachings of God the Son, or faith in the teachings of Satan. Where did we get our faith in the teachings of Satan from?  It must come from the dragon brought to us by the snakes, aka the false teachers, false apostles, or false prophets. All true Christians believe only in the teachings of God the Father and God the Son, and nobody else. While it is not too difficult  to identify the teachings of God the Father and God the Son by reading the Bible, the teachings of the Holy Spirit are not that easy to identify and very difficult to know. Why? Because they are often brought to us by the snakes , the false prophets, the fake  apostles, and by phony teachers. If you ask the Jews why did they crucify Jesus, they will say that Jesus was a false prophet. They see Jesus as a counterfeit of God. If you ask the Christians why Jesus was crucified, they will say to pay for our sins. But if you ask Jesus why He was crucified, He will say it was a mistake . When Adam and Eve lost eternal life they have never recovered what they have lost. They, the Gentiles, see Jesus’ death, a mistake , as a “ransom” for the sins of Adam and Eve.   The Jews crucified Jesus because they thought that Jesus was a false prophet. They were wrong. How do I know they were wrong? Because Jesus said in Matthew 5:17-20, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one title will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches [them], he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. "For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Readers, I want you to read again, and again what Jesus said in Matthew 5:17-20.     Readers, has it ever crossed your mind that God demands total obedience from us? Nature totally obeys Him.   What is salvation by grace? Grace is God's kindness given to people like the thief on the cross when there is nothing more that the thief can do to get out of a critical situation: death on the cross. Grace comes in when there is nothing more that we can do, like the thief on the cross, to get out of a life threatening situation. The thief was dying on the cross, and Jesus was aware of it. There is nothing more that the thief can do. And here’s when God’s grace comes in. But we we are not the thief on the cross. We are not dying on the cross. Nothing is threatening our lives. So why do we need grace from God? So we can disobey Him? So we can eat dog meat? Is that why? If the church that we want to join forbids us from eating dog meat, find another church that allows us to eat dog meat. No grace is needed.
