THE TEN COMMANDMENTS MIRROR
Readers, today I want to talk with you about the Ten Commandments or the Torah. I called it the Law of God. This law was initially given by God to His people through His messenger the Prophet Moses. There are a number of Prophets whom God had called other than the Prophet Moses. And I am sure that you know and remember many, if not all of their names. When Jesus came to earth, He also chose His helpers, His twelve disciples, to help Him with His work. All except Judas Iscariot did what they were called to do. As helpers and servants of God the Father and God the Son we expect them to do exactly what they were told to do except Judas Iscariot and Paul of Tarsus. As we all know, they do what they want to do.
They were disobedient to God the Father and God the Son. Paul of Tarsus wants us to follow him, instead of us following Him. That’s why the Catholic Pope changed the Sabbath worship to Sunday worship because they believe that Paul was called to be God’s messenger. The Pope follows him, Paul of Tarsus, and not Him He who had created us and the world in seven days and rested on the Sabbath, not because He was tired, but because the Sabbath is a holy day. God told us to keep the Sabbath holy, and not work or go surfing on the beach. That was God’s will. Do we understand the will of God the Father, Jesus’ Father? Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23.
Readers, do we understand what Jesus said? He said that no one, none will go to heaven unless we do the will of Jesus’ Father, God the Father. If we do the will of Paul of Tarsus, we know where we are going. If we do the will of our preacher and they are different from the will of Yahweh or God the Father we too should know where you are going, the opposite of heaven. Jesus said, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:23. If you change His law, you are a lawbreaker. God doesn’t tolerate anyone who changes His law, no one! Look, the apostle James disagreed with Paul of Tarsus. Why is that? Because Paul wants to change the law. James is a brave disciple. The other disciples have no courage to disagree with Paul. Jesus wants nothing to do with those who practice lawlessness. God the Father also wants nothing to do with us sinners unless we are willing to repent. He lets us do what we want to do because He knows that millions of us are stubborn human creatures, we do what we want to do. God can do little with us, stubborn people.
I noticed that Paul is the ONLY apostle who contradicts the traditional teachings of Jesus. And he has millions of followers who believe in faith but no work.
Paul said, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9.
May God’s wisdom be with you today and forever.
