NO SAVING POWER IN JESUS' DEATH
Today I want to write something to clear up the confusion of millions of Christians. Enough confusion for centuries! People from the Pope, Martin Luther, down to our preacher, Sabbath school, Sunday school, and kindergarten teacher have been brainwashing our heads and misled us to believe that there is saving power in Jesus’ death. No, there is none, Bro! The saving power is not in Jesus' death. The true saving power is when we repent. Jesus can die thousands of times, but if we don't repent we all will end up in hell. Jesus said, “I have not come to call [the] righteous, but sinners, to repentance." Luke 5:32. "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish." Luke 13:5. Jesus can die 1,000 times or more, but if we don't repent, His death has no value! If we don't repent, we will all perish regardless of how many times Jesus has died for us. His death will not save us unless we repent! Satan wants us to believe that Jesus' death alone has saved us. Do you know why? Because Satan is a liar. Satan wants Jesus dead! Now, let us see what Jesus has said about eternal life. Jesus said, "For I have not spoken on My own [authority]; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. "And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak." John 12:49-50. God the Father said, by way of Jesus, that His command is eternal life, worth listening to, and not Jesus’ death. What is His command to us? His command to the world is the same, and that is that we repent. Satan hates Jesus because His message to the world has always been that we repent. Satan doesn't want us to change. The devil wants us to live in sin under his grace until we die, until our heart stops beating. The power that makes everlasting life possible for us lies in His command or words, and not in His death. But Satan works hard 24/7/365 to deceive us, and so we switch our attention from His command of eternal life to His death. Why? He wants to take away our attention from His command of eternal life to His death, and to make us think that Jesus' death is sufficient for our salvation, instead of following God’s command - repent!. But we're not that stupid, are we? Doing what He wants us to do in His commandments and to repent will save our lives, but the devil wants us to believe that Jesus’ death is sufficient for our salvation. Do not believe in that nonsense! No, because that is not what Jesus said. God the Father sent Jesus to save the world through repentance, but the world refused to to listen to Him. The Jews don’t accept Him either as their Messiah. They refused to repent. Millions of Christians throughout the world don’t want to repent either. They believe in the various gods that they picked up from the Bible. They flushed Jesus’ commands, which are really the commands of God the Father, into the toilet. And they believe that Jesus’ death will save them. God the Father said, by way of Jesus, that His command is everlasting life. Are we obeying His command, or are we doing what these men/women of great faith are doing? Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23.Jesus can die 1,000 times, or more. If we don’t do what God the Father has told us to do, we will all go to hell. No mercy! In summary, the saving power is not in Jesus' death, but in doing what He wants us do for Him. He wants us to repent. Please read my study aid how to read and understand the Bible in easy steps, Pastor-Attorney.
