OFFENSIVE

"The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness” Matthew 13:41. God the Father said, by way of God the Son, that at the end of time, Jesus will send His angels to gather all things that offend and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:41-42. Readers, this morning I want to discuss with you what the Bible defines the word offend is,  and who are those who practice lawlessness. I have not found a complete definition of the word offend in the Bible, but I did find whom God had cast out into the dark place for disobeying Him. I am going to start with Matthew 7:21-23. "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' Matthew 7:21-23. These men/women of great faith are offensive to God because of what they do, or not do what God wants them to do. People who disobey God are offensive to God. No one who offends God is a friend of God. Adam and Eve offended God because they did not respect God’s orders. Millions of Christians offended God the Father when they abolished His commandments that He gave to us by way of Jesus Christ. Millions of Christians falsely say that they love Jesus when in reality they don’t! Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15. Do Christians keep His commandments that God the Father gave to us by way of Jesus Christ? NO! Don’t we know that lying to God is offensive to God?
God the Father said, by way of God the Son, that at the end of time, Jesus will send His angels to gather all things that offend and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:41-42.
Jesus said, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28
Finally, who are those who practice lawlessness? They are Christians who live in sin under grace. When we live in sin under grace, we can never repent! When we live in sin in violation of God's laws, we offend God. When we violate the law of New Yok State, we have committed an offence against the State of New York. When we are living in sin under grace we have offended God and the mental health laws of delusion.
