MISUNDERSTAND
Readers, I want to spend a little time with you today talking about a word that we often misunderstood, and that word is misunderstand.
Jesus Christ said, "He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. "For I have not spoken on My own [authority]; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. "And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak." John 12:44,49-50. Do we understand what Jesus is saying here? He is saying that what He says in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are not His His words. Those were the words of God the Father. The Jews called Him Yahweh. When the newborn Christians abolished or ignored what Jesus said in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, they did not make Jesus mad or upset. They pissed God the Father. Do we understand that we pissed God the Father, and not Jesus? And we made Him more upset and mad when we decided to follow master Paul instead of following master Jesus. The apostle James wasn't happy with Paul either, remember? Do we know God the Father?
Yahweh took away salvation from Adam and Eve and kicked them out from the Garden of Eden on the same day when He found out that they had ignored His orders not to eat the fruit of a certain tree. No mercy! Yahweh or God the Father did the same thing to Lucifer and millions or billions of His angels when they disobeyed Him and kicked them out to America, Indonesia, Asia, Europe, and other parts of the world. Do the Christians know that? Or do we still misunderstand the real character of Yahweh? Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every intent of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." Genesis 6:5-7. Readers, please understand that the history of God the Father is not the same as the history of Jesus Christ. Can we not learn from history? What can Jesus do for us? Nothing! What can Paul do for us? Nothing! Why? Because Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23.
