GOD THE FATHER
Then Jesus cried out and said, "He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. "For I have not spoken on My own [authority]; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. "And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak." John 12:44,49-50.
Readers, this verse tells us that Jesus said that whoever believes in Jesus does not believe in Jesus but believes in God the Father who had sent Him to us. Whatever God the Father has told Jesus, that He tells to us. Jesus said that He has not spoken on His own authority; “whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak." This verse also tells me that Jesus is in constant communication with the Spirit of God the Father, which is true. Who is God the Father? Since there is only one Almighty God who has created the world, who has created Adam and Eve, who has created us and every living being on earth, this God is Yahweh. Whether we like Him or not, we cannot avoid YAHWEH! He was the God who evicted Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, He was the God who evicted Lucifer and millions of his angels from heaven, He was the God who says that He was sorry for creating us when He drowned millions or billions of souls during the big flood because of their bad intentions, (Genesis 6:5). He was also the God who said, "Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth." Genesis 9:11. Instead, God the Father promised, by way of Jesus Christ, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28. We can sing all day and night praising Jesus until we have no more voice, but in the end we still have to deal with God the Father!
We cannot avoid Him! God the Father said, by way of Jesus Christ, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23. Readers, have we done the will of God the Father?
