DENTURES
Today I want to write about a topic that I have never written about before. There are a couple reasons why I want to write about dentures. God the Father, by way of God the Son, has repeatedly talked about gnashing of the teeth. "The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, "and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:41-42. The Bible says that at the end of time Jesus will gather all the things that offend who practice lawlessness, "and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:41-42. Readers, do you know who these people are who practice lawlessness? They are the people who are living in sin. A sin is a sin, period. There is no such thing as living in sin under grace when Jesus returns. If God did not strike us death now for sleeping with somebody’s wife or husband, it is not because He wants us to live in sin, but because He is longsuffering. He wants us to repent. He gives us plenty of time to repent. But if we refuse to repent, and Satan is demanding for our soul day and night, God will allow Satan to take us away from His protection one day. I know He will. My brother suddenly died from a mysterious illness. Will there be wailing and gnashing of teeth when Jesus returns. I do not make that decision.
The decision that I have made for my readers now is this. I know that some or many of my readers will someday wear dentures. In America the dental impression is usually made by a dental assistant.
When you go to see a dentist for dentures, make sure that your dentist makes the dental impression. If he doesn’t want to do it, find another dentist. You want the dental services performed by your dentist. And that is your right! Why? Because you must have a good fitting dental impression if you are still chewing your food with your new dentures. If you are like a bird and just swallow your food, a good fitting dentures may not be critical for chewing your food. Trust only in God with your money, and everyone else is a suspect.
