FAITH

 

Saul of Tarsus, aka Paul, wrote, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. “ Ephesians 2:8-9.

Faith in whom? Faith in God the Father, faith in Jesus, or faith in Saul of Tarsus?

The thief on the cross was saved because of what he said,  “Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us." But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? "And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong." Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." Luke 23:39-43.

He was saved because of what he said, which is the equivalent to work, number 1, and Jesus could not require more work from the thief on the cross because he will die at the end of the day, number 2. If the thief did not say anything to Jesus, he will not be saved by Jesus, number 3.

Readers, don’t let any preacher fool you and make you believe that salvation is easy. He or she wants money from you in a hurry. That’s all, nothing else.

Normally, if you are not dying on the cross or on an electric chair, this is the only way to heaven.

Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Matthew 7:21. 

Do you believe in what Jesus said? Do you have faith in Jesus?  If you say you do, then answer this question: why are you following Saul of Tarsus, why? Is he your Jesus, or is he your God?

Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love Me, keep My commandments.“ Readers, are you keeping Jesus’ commandments? NO. Don’t worry. You are not alone. Saul of Tarsus also doesn’t keep God’s commandments.

Revelation 20:7-9 says, “Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number [is] as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. “ 

Now is the time to repent, brothers and sisters. Don’t wait until Jesus returns.

WHO IS THE LAW FOR?

Readers, when God gave to the prophet Moses the Law (Ten Commandments) that law was not for Jesus to observe and keep. That law was for the Pope, pastors, priests, ministers, preachers, presidents, doctors, bus drivers, you, me, and for everybody to keep and honor! Do you know this? Do we understand this simple logic? We are to keep and honor the Ten Commandments until WE  die, and not until Jesus dies. Do we understand this simple logic? I am amazed to see how “smart” the newborn Christians are. They believe that Jesus died to pay for our sins. And after Jesus died, we are no longer bound by the law. But they have no proof of their nonsense other than what the “apostle” Paul has written. Have they ever thought about why God the Father has given us the law? NO. God gives us the law because there is an urgent need for the law. It tells us about our obligation toward God, and our obligation toward each other. That is what the law is all about. THE THIEF ON THE CROSS

  The apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith , and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works , lest anyone should boast.” Who inspired Paul to write this text? I believe it was the thief on the cross who inspired him. The thief has faith, no work, but is saved by grace. The apostle James disagreed with Paul. “What [does it] profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works ? Can faith save him?” James 2:14. No, faith alone, without work, cannot save us. Why? Because work is evidence that we have faith. Obedience to work is evidence that we have faith. The story about the thief on the cross is a RARE exception.
