THE BEAST AND THE FALSE PROPHET
Today I am going to write about the beast and the false prophet. Why? Here’s the urgent reason why.
“Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number [is] as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet [are]. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.“ Revelation 20:7-10.
Readers, please understand that no single party can do so much deception and damage to the world except the beast, the old dragon, and the church, the false prophet.
There are millions or billions of his angels that help Satan in his work to deceive us. No single false prophet (church) can deceive the world. There are millions of churches (false prophets) all over the world that work together to misrepresent the teachings of Jesus and His Father for various reasons. I believe the number one reason is greed for money and power. Big church, high prestigious job in the church, nice home, nice car, etcetera. They don’t care about anything else. They say that they love Jesus but they don’t do what Jesus wants them to do. What does Jesus want them to do? Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.“ Matthew 7:21. Whose will do they, the false prophets, do? They do the will of Saul of Tarsus.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:17, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.“ What does the church do? The false prophets change God’s law under various pretenses. Does the church care what Jesus said? No, they don’t care. They don’t care at all! They are now rich with world possession. The false prophet (church) and the beast have only one mission, and that is to prevent you and me from going to heaven.
