DEVIL WORSHIPERS
I consider myself very lucky that my father was a Jesus believer. When he suddenly disappeared during the Indonesian revolution against the Dutch occupation, I was about three or four years old. I don’t remember much about him except the hundreds of picture slides that he left behind that show the second coming of Jesus Christ. I asked my mother why my dad kept so many slides? My mom told me that my dad had a home business employing a couple dozen employees. He showed the slides to his employees after they were done with their work. Many of his employees converted and became faithful Christians.
My wife was not so lucky. Her father was a devil worshiper. She told me about her experience living with her dad, a devil worshiper. I am glad that my father was a Christian and not a devil worshipper.
My problem with being a Christian is not small. It is not easy being a Christian. But despite my failures He always raises me back up. I am convinced that God wants me to continue with the work that my father had prematurely left behind when I was small. That I know. And I will continue to spend more hours working for Him until He calls me home. I asked my wife to follow Jesus, and not the devil. I feel sorry for her because pak Dato, the spirit that her father worshiped, sometimes comes to visit her at night and touches her leg. I told her to pray to Jesus.
Now no more because she prays to Jesus every night. We, Christians, have been following the devil for too long, way too long! I have a similar experience with a different Satan. He keeps hacking my computer and blocking my network.
Very few Christians know how to follow Jesus. Do you know why? Because Satan has deceived them by way of the church. What easier way is there to deceive the Christians other than through their churches? Nothing is easier than that.
“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden' ?"
Satan was challenging Eve about her knowledge of God’s commandments. She knew. “And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; "but of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God has said, `You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'" Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. "For God knows that on the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." So when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make [one] wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave it to her husband with her, and he ate.” Genesis 3:1-6.
The problem with us Christians is that we do not always obey His commandments. We may know the ten commandments, but unless we obey them it means nothing. It’s useless. God gave us the Ten Commandments a long time ago. God is not a Jew. God could have given His commandments to the Chinese or Japanese. Why to the slaves in Egypt? I suspect that the slaves in Egypt are the descendants of the prophet Abraham. And so was Moses. So the slaves in Egypt and Abraham and Moses are all Israelites. They were all part of the descendants of Adam and Eve who were faithful to Yahweh after Adam and Eve were evicted from the Garden of Eden, while the ancient Romans were worshiping the SUN and different gods, and not YAHWEH.
The Romans should be grateful to the Jews who brought Jesus to the world. Now they are rich selling Jesus with their huge Cathedrals in Indonesia and other parts of the world. The Romans should be grateful to JUDAISM that makes them rich. If there is no Judaism the Romans are still worshiping the sun and the moon.
The prophets Abraham and Moses are some of the Jews that God loves. If there are no Judaism, no Abraham, no Moses, we will all worship a Roman or an American pak Dato.
