IN GOD WE TRUST
Why am I not surprised? Saul of Tarsus said, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. Saul wrote that we are saved by faith, and not by doing the will of God.
Jesus however said, 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and, in your name, perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Matthew 7:21-23. Paul loves to contradict Jesus.
Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15. What did Paul say? "knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.” Galatians 2:16.
What did Jesus say? “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”
Paul loves to contradict Jesus. What else does Paul say?
In Romans 7:12 Paul wrote, “Therefore the law [is] holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.” So, there is nothing wrong with the law. Why did Paul abolish the law when he was not the author of the law? Did God talk to Paul and authorize him to change the law? No!
Can President Donald Trump change U.S. law because he thinks that the law is not necessary? No! Saul of Tarsus had no respect for God’s law. You know who else has no respect for God’s law? SATAN!
Saul also shows that he has no respect for Jesus’ Father. Satan has no respect for God. Satan and Paul are teaching us to disrespect God. If we don’t like God’s law, find another religion where we don’t have to offend God. In Romans 7:12 Paul wrote, “Therefore the law [is] holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.”
Don’t monkey around with God’s law if we still have some sense left in our heads.
Now I want to take you to the book of Jeremiah.
23:16 Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the LORD.
23:21 "I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
23:25 "I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, `I have dreamed, I have dreamed!'
23:26 "How long will [this] be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed [they are] prophets of the deceit of their own heart,
23:27 "who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal.
23:32 "Behold, I [am] against those who prophesy false dreams," says the LORD, "and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore, they shall not profit this people at all," says the LORD.
Readers, don’t ignore or show disrespect toward God the Father.
