WHO IS LYING?
Saul of Tarsus wrote, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.“ Ephesians 2:8-9. Furthermore, he wrote that the Law, God’s commandments, is abolished and replaced with faith after Jesus came or was born.
Jesus said, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one title will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” Mattthew 5:17-18. Jesus said He came to confirm the law, and not to change anything.
In John 14:15,21-24 Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.“
Readers, do you know why Jesus said these words? He loves those who keep His commandments, He loves those who honor their parents, He loves those who speak the truth, He loves those who keep the Sabbath holy, He loves those who do not commit adultery, etcetera.
I am sure there are more things that He prohibits us from doing other than the ten Commandments, but certainly not less.
Jesus’ Father said, “but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.”
Exodus 20:6. Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15.
Where are His commandments to keep when Saul of Tarsus has abolished them all and replaced them with faith?
Here is what Saul of Tarsus said, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.“ Ephesians 2:8-9. Let us clarify some terms in the text, faith and work. When I say that I believe in Jesus, I not only believe that He exists, but I will also do what He wants me to do. That is what faith in Jesus means. What does work mean? Work to me means that I will do what Jesus wants me to do.
According to “apostle” Paul we are saved if we have faith in Jesus only and we don’t have to do what He wants us to do. No wonder there are so many ANAK KURANGAJAR in this world because they don't have to do what their parents ask them to do.
And there are millions and billions of Christians who follow the teachings of Saul of Tarsus. Do whatever you think is best for you, even when you have to ignore God’s commandments. Good job Serpent, good job.
