THE SABBATH

Readers, do you know that the Jewish seventh day Sabbath will be observed and honored until Jesus returns, and beyond?
Why? Because Jesus said so in His prophecy.
Observance of the Sabbath as a holy day is mandatory in  the Bible, described in detail in the Ten Commandments.
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” Exodus 20:8.
“Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day [is] the Sabbath of the LORD your God. [In it] you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who [is] within your gates. For [in] six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that [is] in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.” Exodus 20:9-11.
The Gentiles think that God rested on day seven because He was tired after creating the world in six days. I have never heard of such a ridiculous idea that God rested on the seventh day because He was tired. I say that the reason why God rested on the seventh day is because it is a HOLY day.
The thought that God needed rest is ridiculous and makes no sense. Our job, readers, is to be obedient to Him and not act like Adam and Eve.
Do what Jesus’ Father wants us to do and not do what the serpent wants Adam and Eve to do.
The fact that Jesus mentioned the Sabbath in His prophecy, "And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.” Matthew 23:20 should tell us that the Sabbath is a holy day, and not rest because we are tired of running away.
Remember this and never forget! Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Matthew 7:21. Satan doesn’t want us to obey God. Satan hates the Sabbath. Satan wants us to join him in hell.
"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. "All these [are] the beginning of sorrows. "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. "then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. "And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.
"But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! "And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.”
Why did Jesus say that we are to pray that our flight may not be in the winter or on the Sabbath?
Because the winter is freezing cold and the Sabbath is the Lord’s day, a holy day. Jesus' prophecy will occur at the end of time and the Sabbath is still being observed when Jesus returns.
Who authorized the Pope to change the Sabbath from the seventh day to the first day of the week? Certainly not God the Father. Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Matthew 7:21.
When we changed the Sabbath from the seventh day to the first day of the week, were we doing the will of Yahweh? No. When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit that they should not eat, were they doing the will of God the Father? No. God kicked them out from their home immediately.
Readers, the character of Jesus’ Father is not the same as Jesus’. We probably can bargain with Jesus a little bit because He was a human being just like us. But never try to bargain with Jesus’ Father. Never! We do what He tells us to do, or we get punished immediately without delay.
The seventh day is God’s holy day that He wants us to observe and honor. We don’t know why that particular day. But that doesn't give us the freedom or the reason to change it to the first day of the week.
Look at Adam and Eve. God told them not to eat a certain fruit in the garden. They ignored God’s order, and blamed it on the serpent.
God told us to keep the Sabbath holy. We observed Sunday and blamed the Pope and Constantine. Did the Pope and Constantine force us to observe Sunday instead of Saturday? No, they did not.
Be careful when making our choices because we may regret it for the rest of our lives.
We cannot blame it on anybody except ourselves.
