In John 10:30 Jesus said, "I and [My] Father are one." Do you know why? Here’s why. Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. ” John 5:19. "For I have not spoken on My own [authority]; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. "And I know that His command is everlasting life . Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak." John 12:49-50. "I can of Myself do nothing.   Hundreds or thousands of articles have been written about Jesus, His mission on earth, and why He died. Why was Jesus crucified? Let’s start with the facts. Readers, this evening I have decided to write something that will surprise you, if not shock you a little bit. It’s about the thief on the cross, a story from the Bible that many of you are already familiar with. Readers, do you know that “grace” is a very addictive word, like a narcotic drug? We keep doing the wrong things because of “grace”. When we were younger we did the wrong things because we were stupid. But when we are older and smarter we still keep doing the wrong things. Why? Because of “grace”. Where did we learn grace from? Paul wrote, “ For by grace you have been saved through faith , and that not of yourselves ; [it is] the gift of God, not of works , lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9.
