WHY DO WE HAVE TO BE BORN AGAIN?

In John 3:3 Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again ."  Nicodemus then asked, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:4-6. Jesus apppears to make a distinction between being born of "water" (born of the flesh) and being born of the Spirit (practice righteousness). Being born of the flesh is impossible when we are already old. But being born again of the Spirit is possible. Born again means that we must have a good conscience like little children if we want to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. We must repent. We must obey God and do what He wants us to do. We must be obedient to the voice of God. And...

THE LORD'S PRAYER

There is nothing that the Lord has given us that has no purpose. Everything that He has created has a purpose, or otherwise He would not have created or given them to us, including the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13. "Pray then like this: ' Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors . And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil . For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.’” (emphasis added). The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Jesus said, this is how you should pray - Matthew 6:9-13. He could have given us a different prayer version for us to recite, but He did not! What did we do? We recite a different prayer than what He had taught us to say in Matthew 6:9-13! And then we say that we are “obedient” to Jesus? Isn't that amazing? Aren't...

WHOM DO WE BELIEVE?

“If you love Me, Keep My Commandments”, Jesus said. Why must we keep His commandments? Jesus said to Thomas, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me .” John 14:6 . Readers, do you understand what Jesus said? He said that He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him . John 14:6. If you have difficulties reading English, read the Bible that is written/translated in your language such as Greek, Hebrews, Chinese, Arabic, etc. We cannot come to God the Father, Jesus said, unless we go through Jesus Christ, God the Son. Jesus said, "I am the door . If anyone enters by Me , he will be saved , and will go in and out and find pasture.” John 10:9. If you still don’t understand what Jesus said in John 10:9, don’t worry. Why? Because Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to ...

HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD WE FORGIVE?

According to Jesus, how many times should we forgive others who have offended us? Peter came to Jesus and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven .” Matthew 18:21-22. Forgiving others is not easy. Forgiving ourselves is sometimes even harder. Many people find it hard to forgive others who have wronged them, however small. But Jesus wants us to forgive others who ask, or do not ask for forgiveness, so that forgiving becomes second nature to us. There is no limit to how many times we can forgive others. This is His Rule. This is Jesus’ Law. If we have sinned against God, how many times can we ask God to forgive us? Again, there is no limit. Every time we ask Him for forgiveness, He will forgive us. That is His nature. That’s His law. That is how He is. Ephesians 4:32 says, “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one ...

SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION

Jesus said, "But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.” Matthew 5:39. Readers, do you know what Jesus is saying here? He wants us to be a problem solver, and not to resist and be a problem maker. Sorry for the confusion. Jesus also said, "If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have [your] cloak also.” Matthew 5:40. Jesus wants us to be a problem solver, and not be a problem maker. He wants us to make peace with our enemies. Sorry for the confusion. Jesus also said, “Blessed [are] the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9. God the Father wants us to be called His children. Sorry for the confusion. "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48. God wants us to be perfect, just as He is perfect. Sorry for the confusion. Jesus said, "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; f...
