The Truth

  Tonight I am going to write on a subject that I feel many of us don’t understand, faith and obedience. We say that we have faith in Jesus, but we don’t do what Jesus tells us to do. We say that we have faith in Jesus’ Father but we don’t do what Jesus’ Father tells us to do. Do you know why? Here’s why. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. “ Ephesians 2:8-9.  Jesus however said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.“ Matthew 7:21.  Paul, aka Saul of Tarsus, contradicted   what Jesus said. Is that a “ gift from God ”? NO! When God says no and somebody else says yes, that is not a gift from God. That is a gift from SATAN .     “Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, `You shall not eat of every tree of the garden' ?" And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; "but of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God has said, `You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'"   Readers, I want to start this article by asking you this first question. Why do you go to school, to be informed or to be misinformed? I am sure all of you will say to be informed. Now if I ask you this next question why do you go to church, to be informed or to be misinformed? I am sure you will say to be informed, but you may be misinformed if all you do is just swallow what your teacher says. And not only that Satan will make sure that you stay uninformed and misinformed. That was the reason why Psalm 1:1-2 says, “Blessed [is] the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.”  No teacher, pastor, preacher, or priest can fool us if our delight [is] in the law of the LORD, and in His law we meditate day and night.   We don’t know that Satan has deceived us until we are deceived. Adam and Eve did not know that the serpent had deceived them until they found out that they were naked. It’s too late by then. Many Christians, including their pastors, don’t know that Satan has deceived them until they are deceived. How do we know that Satan has deceived us or not? Follow the rules . That’s it. Follow the rules. What are the rules? Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. “ Matthew 7:21. The rules can be found in the will of Jesus’ Father, YAHWEH . Doing the will of God is work or obedience . We all agree that we are the descendants of Adam and Eve. Some of us were still  worshiping Yahweh as our God after Adam and Eve were evicted. Some of us worship the sun as our god, and others worship other objects as their gods. The Jews, under their prophet Abraham kept the Jews faithful to their God, Yahweh . Therefore, it should not surprise us at all why Jesus was born in Bethlehem, a small town in Judea. God knew that after Adam and Eve were evicted from their home and separated from God people were worshiping other gods, the sun, a large stone, and other objects as their god. “And God spoke all these words, saying: "I [am] the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. "You shall have no other gods before Me.     I am going to write this morning about something that I have never written before. I got this idea just now. I am already tired, but I have to write it before I forget. I have to write it before He calls me home. God said to Adam, “Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.   I have a feeling that billions of Christians, whose number [is] as the sand of the sea,  hated Jesus’ Father because of what He did to Adam and Eve, took eternal life away from them, and made them and us suffer. What has Jesus done for us? He wants to save us, and sacrifice His life for us so we can get back our eternal eternal life that we once lost because Adam and Eve made the fatal error when they disobeyed God the Father. What must we do? Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven .“ Matthew 7:21. Adam and Eve lost eternal life because they disobeyed God the Father. They disobeyed the will of God the Father. Here comes Jesus. He gave us another chance for eternal life, and that is the same, do the will of Jesus’ Father. Are we doing the will of Jesus’ Father? No, we are doing the will of Saul of Tarsus.
