WHO IS YOUR BOSS?

Readers, I want to ask you all this very important question. And I want you all to answer me honestly without any sign of temper tantrums. Do you agree? Thank you.  God the Father said in Deuteronomy 5:7-10, `You shall have no other gods before Me. `You shall not make for yourself a carved image any likeness [of anything] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, [am] a jealous God , visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth [generations] of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep my commandments ” . And Jesus said, "For I have not spoken on My own [authority]; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. "And I know that His command is everlasting life . Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I ...

God said, "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that [is] your neighbor's." Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw [it], they trembled and stood far off. Then they said to Moses, "You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die." Exodus 20:17-19. Readers, we have come to the end of the Ten Commandments. They are all important Commandments. When I was young, I had violated almost all of them. I am ashamed of what I have done, and I regret it. Now comes sharing time. I learned from my past mistakes.  I learned about generational curses from the people who have violated this law, "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his ...

THE WORK

The apostle Paul wrote, “ For by grace you have been saved through faith , and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works , lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. According to Paul faith saves us, and not because of our work or what we do. The apostle James disagreed with Paul. James said, “But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.” James 2:20,21,22,24. What is the “work" that Paul was talking about? Paul was referring to the work that is given in detail in the Ten Commandments, "knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the wo...

God said, "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.” Exodus 20:16. Readers, why is being truthful so important? Because if we tell lies God will not save us. If we believe in lies God will not save us either. We know what happened to Adam and Eve. They lost their eternal life because they believed in Satan’s lies. And Satan and millions of his angels were evicted from heaven because they were telling lies. Readers, do you understand what I am saying? I hope you do.  If Jesus rejected us when He returned we cannot say I dunno nothing because my preacher says so, the priest says so, or even my apostle says so. Readers, I have warned you about Satan and his human agents. They want to save your stomach, and not your soul, if you know what I meant. hkhoe@thexcommandments.com

ONE COMMANDMENT AT A TIME (7)

God said, “You shall not steal”. Exodus 20:15. Why is stealing a sin? Why? Number one because stealing is against the will of God. Number two stealing is a crime. Anything that we do that is against the will of God is a sin. Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. ” Matthew 7:21. Are we doing the will of God the Father? I want you to think carefully, very carefully before you answer me. Why? Because many, millions or billions of men and women of great faith will say to Jesus on the day when He returns 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me you who practice lawlessness! ' Matthew 7:22-23. Jesus rejected them because they are liars , my next topic. They claimed that they have faith in God, but they practiced lawlessness, a...

God said, “You shall not commit adultery” Exodus 20:14. Why is adultery a sin? Why is anything a sin? What is or what is not a sin is defined by God, and not by us. And God uses “sin” to screen anyone from entering heaven. When God first created Adam and Eve there was no sin. Sin came about when Adam and Eve disobeyed God.  They were promptly evicted from their home for disobeying God. And ever since that time sin is defined as disobedience to God’s commandments, and not only stealing, murdering, or not keeping the Sabbath holy. Many newborn Christians still do not understand that disobeying God’s commandments is sin. Look, what did Adam and Eve do which cost them their eternal lie? Did they murder anyone? No. They ate what God had told them not to eat. They disobeyed God. And so, I hope my readers understand that the screening test that God uses on us is not what we eat or drink only. The screening test is whether or not we are obedient to Him. Jesus said, "Not everyone wh...

God said, "You shall not murder.” Exodus 20:13.   I believe this law is similar to the law that says you shall not steal. We do not own the person whom we kill. We did not create the person that we kill, and we do not own the property that we have stolen. We have no right to kill a person whom we did not create or own, and neither do we have the right to take a property that is not ours without consequences. It's offensive.  hkhoe@thexcommandments.com
