MORE, MORE, AND MORE

I woke up this morning and was very surprised to hear a voice say these words to me, “The more you want from this world, the narrower and the harder it is to pass the narrow road to heaven.” I have never heard or read these warnings before from anyone, not from my mother, not from my preachers, not from the Bible teacher, and not even from the Biblical scholars on the Internet.  What does my “want" have to do with preparing myself for the Kingdom of God, I ask? Am I missing something? And so, I decided to search the Scripture and see what Jesus had said about our wants. First, I look at the Ten Commandments. There are not too many wants that I see there except in Exodus 20:17, "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that [is] your neighbor's." When we do this, it is the equivalent of stealing. When I take my neighbor’s wife, I a...

A FRIENDLY REMINDER

Today is Sunday, a day of rest to worship God by millions of Christians all over the world, Indonesia, America, Australia, Uganda, Canada, Russia, North Pole, South Pole, everywhere. That’s the good news. Christian preachers and their wives are doing a good job of selling Jesus. I have a job too. But my job is not to sell Jesus. My job is to tell you, my readers, what JESUS says. What did Jesus say? Jesus Christ said , " He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. "For I have not spoken on My own [authority]; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command , what I should say and what I should speak . "And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak." John 12:44,49-50. I wrote this verse in bold letters so no one can miss it. I want my readers to know that every command that comes out from Jesus’ mouth that is written in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John is not Jesus’ ...

HOW TO LOVE GOD

The apostle Paul’s “law of Christ” tells us to love God and to love others. HOW do we love God and HOW do we love others, nobody knows. Satan doesn’t know. And he doesn’t want us to know it either. Most Christian pastors, preachers, and priests don’t know. But Jesus knows. Jesus said, “If you love Me keep My commandments”; “ He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."   John 14:15,21. The apostle Paul agrees. “Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God [is what matters].”   1 Corinthians 7:19. Readers, do we know that God the Father gave us the Ten Commandments to meet an urgent need ? If there is no need for a commandment, God will not give it to Adam and Eve, or to us. God the Father said, by way of Jesus Christ, "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he...

LOVING GOD

We heard a lot about people talking about “loving God” when we sat in church. What does it mean? What does the Bible say about loving God? What does God the Father say, by way of Jesus Christ, what loving God is? How can we prove that we love God? Heaven, or where God lives, is far away from earth where we live. How can we say that we love God who is millions of miles away from us when we do not love our wives who are only two feet away from us? Paul’s “law of Christ” in Galatians 6:2 tells us to “love God and others”, and nothing more. The “law of Christ” is confusing because it doesn’t tell us HOW to love God who is millions of miles away from us, and HOW to love our spouses who are only two feet away from us. And frankly I am not confused at all if we don’t know because CONFUSION is the modus operandi of the serpent, Satan . Satan uses preachers and pastors to deceive us. And exactly for that reason God the Father, by way of Jesus Christ, warned us and said, "Beware of false...
